III. Based on this story, design an aural-oral assessment, as well as a
written assessment that may be used with pupils.
IV. Demonstrate the aural-oral assessment.
V. As for the written assessment, explain with an example.
VI. Discuss how this assessment can be documented in a portfolio

Short story:

Aural-oral assessment
Book Talks Activity:
its an oral book report that provides an opportunity to measure
growth in a formal presentation of a particular type of information.
Book talks can involve the use of drawings, pictures, objects, or
costumes for illustration.
Procedures:
1. Teacher reads the short story to the class.
2. Teacher will ask pupils about the short story.
3. Students will be evaluated based on all the pieces of information they
provide and deliver.
The criteria might include:
i. Title and author
ii. Characters (description)
iii. Setting (description)
iv. Plot- a brief retelling of the story
v. Recommendation Did they like the book? Why? Would they recommend the
book to others?
