Dear families,

Welcome to 2
nd
grade! My name is Miss Benesh and I will be
your students teacher this year. I am really excited for what is in
store for this year! I am a recent graduate of Elizabethtown College,
with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education.
This will be my first year and I look forward to using my knowledge
and experience to provide your child with a classroom community
which will be engaging intellectually, socially and emotionally. I am
hoping to build a classroom community in which students
encourage and help each other to succeed in their learning
endeavors.
Throughout this year we will explore topics in reading, writing,
science, math, and social studies. We will build upon our knowledge
and expand our thoughts on different cultures and communities. I
believe in families and teachers working together to give students
educational support from all aspects of their lives. I would like to
encourage you to stay in contact with me throughout the year.
