Hi Dr. Theuer! I have just finished teaching EDUU 606 in Monterey as a Blended course. It was such an excellent experience for me and for the students! The Signature Assignments that they have turned in are very inspiring. I have attached one that is a particularly great example of APA format and excellence in addressing the rubric requirements. I hope you enjoy it.
If you ever need an online instructor for EDUU 606, I would be delighted to teach it!
Thank you for the support you gave me during the SA calibration meeting. I remember so much of what was discussed as I grade the SAs. Have a wonderful summer

On another note, I wanted to ask you if there is anything planned for me for the fall. I have an opportunity to return to CSU Stan to teach the educational technology course once again. I feel my first commitment at this time is to Brandman, but if nothing is scheduled, then I will take this one as well. I would still be available next winter for the science class again, either both on campus and/or online. When I hear from you, then I will respond to CSU Stanislaus
And I would be glad to get together to debrief after the class is over. But for starters I'll let you know that you have set up a wonderful class. Dave

Hi Kathy Thanks for the reminder --- I did post on week 2, 4, and 6. Just to let you know that everything is going great. But, will give it a good "looking over" before posting on week 8. All the students have been getting into the groove of studying for the blend style and seem to be enjoying it more and more. I know I think it is great. And I must say thanks to you for making it so easy to transition into because of all the hard work you did in setting it up. The class is very easy to follow on blackboard, very usable information, and real life application to teaching. Thanks Peggy From: Schultz, Robert To: Theuer, Kathryn Subject: RE: Learning Style Inventory Date: Monday, November 08, 2010 7:44:18 AM Thanks, Kathy. That worked perfectly. I am thoroughly enjoying the way you've spoiled us by providing so many easy ways to access student work and the gradebook. -----Original Message----- From: Theuer, Kathryn Sent: Sun 11/7/2010 7:34 AM To: Schultz, Robert Subject: RE: Learning Style Inventory
Hi Bob, Their learning styles inventory assignment should show up in the grade book. You can access the grade center through the control panel. Once you open the grade center a green asterick should appear in the column for the learning styles inventory. When you click on the arrows to the right of the asterick it will say "grade attempt". Click on that and then on "view grade attempt" and you will be able to see the document they submitted. Just open the document to view it and you can make comments on it. You can also make comments in a comment box and there is a place for entering a grade. I'll attach the tutorial for the grade center just in case you need that. I was in a meeting that was supposed to be over WAY before 4:00. I enjoyed your 606 design very much. The students learned a lot - especially about the brain! It was a terrific experience. Thank you for all of the hard work you put into the course and into supporting us as we taught it. The Blackboard shell is looking really good. I sent out my first week announcements through email in blackboard. I also sent a second email to invite them to the Adobe Connect meeting. I am still having a glitch with Connect but hope to have it worked out today.
Thanks for all the hard work. Students will never know the work and long hours that goes into constructing a new class. From the late night or early morning emails, you both need so sleep.

Dear Kathy,
Thank you for the Live Text Steps to Follow for Course Instructors and the additional attachments.
I saved notes from last year, and it is still great to have more information to help us complete our work. I will be starting to work tomorrow on my assignments and look forward to seeing the work submitted to date.
You are a wonderful custodian who keeps on giving!

Good Morning Dr. Theuer,
Just a quick thank you for your help yesterday with Live Text. I appreciate your "hands-on" tutorial. It is truly a privilege working with you and the staff and students at Brandman University.
