Vista and Windows 7: Disabling UAC (User Account Control)

Before installing VisiLogic, disable UAC as described below. If you have already installed
VisiLogic, you may need to uninstall and reinstall it as described on page 2.

Disabling UAC in Windows 7

1. Type UAC into the Start
Menu or Control Panel
search box.

2. Drag the slider bar

completely down to
Never notify to disable
it entirely, and then click
OK.

Disabling UAC in Vista

1. Open up the Control
Panel and type UAC into
the search box.

2. Uncheck the box for Use

User Account Control
(UAC), and then click
OK.

Re-installing VisiLogic
1. Back up all projects.
2. Uninstall VisiLogic, as well as other Unitronics software
3. Delete the folder Unitronics VisiLogic_C from C:\Program Files\Unitronics
4. Delete the folder Unitronics from C:\Program Files\Common Files
5. Reboot the PC.
6. Install VisiLogic.
