Book Report Historical Fiction/Holiday Book


Due Monday, December 8, 2014
During the months of November and December, you will
have the choice between a holiday-themed book and a book in the
historical fiction genre. If you choose historical fiction for
November, then you will do a holiday-themed book for December.
If you choose a holiday-themed book for November, then your
book for December will be from the historical fiction genre.

Directions for either historical fiction or holiday-themed


book:
Make a mini-booklet by folding a sheet of
construction paper in half, either width-wise or length-wise.
On the front, draw and color a cover, including the
title of the book and the author.
Inside the front cover, on the left side, list the main
characters and at least two details about each of them.
Inside the front cover, on the right side, write a
summary of your book. Use extra paper if necessary. If
you are reporting on a historical fiction book, be sure to
include information about the time period in which your
story took place.
On the back cover, complete these thoughts:
