    Alexis Bussey is a senior English Professional Writing major with a minor in Journalism at the University of Delaware. She began her undergraduate education at Hampton University as a Hampton University Scholar, and earned Dean’s List honors. She transferred to the University of Delaware after her freshman year, where she is currently pursuing my Bachelor of Arts in English. During her college career she has served as an intern for The United Way of Delaware in the Marketing and Human Resource Departments, an Assistant to the Director of Multimedia at University of Delaware Athletics, and Contributing Editor for the New Jersey Newsroom. Outside of the classroom, Alexis is on the Black Student Union Executive Board, where she serves as the Public Relations Officer. Her passion for sports and writing have contributed to her dream of working for a professional sports team in media relations or event planning.
