Opening Sequence

What is an Opening Sequence?

An opening sequence is the first scene you see in a film/ episode. You usually see the
characters/character as they will introduce you to them for e.g. main actors or even themes like
death if its a horror. You may also see Logos, Sponsors for e.g. credit to Production Company and
directors/ important people helping in the production of this film/ episode. The production company
is noticed as well as they are the ones that helped with the main work. In the opening sequence you
also see the setup of the narrative i.e. equilibriums, there should be a build up to the rest of the
scenes and titles/subtitles but this isn't always needed.
