pablo Picasso1 Ruiz (Malaga, Spain, October 25,


1881-Mougins, France, April 8, 1973), known as
Pablo Picasso was a Spanish painter and sculptor,
creator, along with Georges Braque and Juan
Gris, the cubist movement .
It is considered from the genesis of the twentieth
century as one of the greatest painters who
participated in many art movements that swept
the world and had a great influence on other
great artists of his time. Industrious and prolific,
he painted more than two thousand works,
present in museums and collections throughout
Europe and the world. He also addressed other
genres such as drawing, engraving, book
illustration, sculpture, ceramics and design
scenery and costumes for theatrical productions.
Politically, Picasso declared pacifist and
communist. He was a member of the PCE and
the French Communist Party until his death.2 the
April 8, 1973 in Notre-Dame-de-Vie (Mougins,
France) at 91. He is buried in the castle of
Vauvenargues (Bouches-du-Rhone).

Leonardo da Vinci (Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci
Loudspeaker.svg listen) was a Florentine painter.
Notable Italian Renaissance polymath (while
anatomist, architect, artist, botanist, scientist,
writer, sculptor, philosopher, engineer, inventor,
musician, poet and urbanist) was born in Vinci
April 15 and died in Amboise 14522 2 May 1519,
at age 67, accompanied by his faithful Francesco
Melzi, who bequeathed his projects, designs and
pinturas.2 After spending his childhood in his
hometown, Leonardo studied with the
celebrated Florentine painter Andrea Verrocchio.
His first major work was created in Milan in the
service of Duke Ludovico Sforza. He then worked
in Rome, Bologna and Venice and spent the last
years of his life in France, at the invitation of King
Francis I.
