more important to understand
Responsibility or Roles

BOTH are equally important
Roles define how effectively managers
can accomplish their responsibilities

Disseminator Role
Transmitting the information or judgments
about technology, product, service, policy, law ,
any that relate with the organization
immediately or in future - external or internal
environments

Monitor Role

Receiving information, managing


information , using information ,
meeting the standards , compliance the
information

Spokesman Role
Speaks on behalf of Management within or
outside organizations, public relations

Decision Roles -1
Entrepreneur Role
Setting strategies and objectives ,
investing capital , initiate changes, taking
risks,

Disturbance Handler

Taking charge and decide whenever


organizations is threatened
May be because of competitor , customer
complaints, conflicts / disputes arise
between employees, from the employees
with trade unions , social forums ,
government , legal or any disturbance that
may hamper the organization process /
function such as mass absenteeism, losing
customers

Resource Allocator
Sets priority , approving budgets ,
scheduling programmes ,decides where
organization should expands, using
capital and all other resources effectively,
minimizing the wastages

External role and internal role as well.
Works out agreements with customers ,
suppliers , dealers
Exchange of information within the
organizations
