F-500 The New Chemistry in Fire, Vapor and Contamination Control

Captain Mehrmann is pleased to host a training demonstration with the F-500 Fire
Suppression Agent.
F-500 is the latest advancement in fire suppression. F-500 is a multipurpose UL Class A
and B listed fire suppression agent that functions on the principle of micelle
encapsulation. F-500 is not a foaming agent that relies of the formation and maintenance
of a foam blanket but encapsulates hydrocarbon fuels and renders then inflammable while
rapidly cooling and extinguishing the fire.
A representative from Hazard Control Technologies (the manufacturers of F-500) and
Orr Safety, will be demonstrating the rapid cooling and extinguishment capabilities F500 on several Class A fires (cars, tires and wood pallets). Attendees will witness the
rapid fire knockdown, penetrating and cooling capability which is the trademark of the F500 product.
The F-500 demonstration will focus on the life safety, resource conservation and
environmentally friendliness properties of the F-500.
This demonstration will change the way you think about fire fighting, flammable fuel
spill control, vapor mitigation and bioremediation.
