Welcome to Use HedEx Libraries

To read a HedEx library, you must load it to the HedEx Lite software. Download the HedEx
Lite software if you do not have it.

Quick Start to HedEx Libraries

1.1 Downloading the HedEx Lite

Method 1
Download the HedEx Lite from the address provided when you download a HedEx library at
the Web site http://support.huawei.com/support/.

Method 2
To download the HedEx Lite, visit:

1.2 Starting the HedEx Lite

Step 1 Decompress the HedEx Lite package in D:\HedEx_Lite.
Step 2 In the local path of the HedEx Lite, double-click

1.3 Loading HedEx Library (.hdx Format) to the HedEx Lite

Method 1
Load HedEx libraries on the Admin tab page in the HedEx Lite.
Step 1 On the HedEx Lite interface, click Admin.
Step 2 On the Library Management page, click Upload and select the library (in .hdx format) to be
uploaded.
Step 3 After selecting all libraries, click Open.

Method 2
If you have obtained HedEx Lite and libraries, double-click a library. Then HedEx Lite starts
automatically for you to view the library. This library, however, is not uploaded to HedEx Lite.
Therefore, this library is not displayed on the Home page after you restart HedEx Lite

1.4 Viewing a Huawei Library

On the Home tab page of the HedEx Lite, click a document library to be viewed.
