2 New collection device or technology support

2.1 Accuver support

Improved handling of corrupted timestamps in Accuver messages.

In order to avoid possible memory related issues, all the IP packets are
now discarded by default in Analyzer. Users that want to analyse raw IP
packets should enabled the preference Technology > IP > IP Data
Analysis. This preference should be enabled by the users prior to
loading VoLTE log files.

2.2 Ascom TEMS support

Added support for TEMS Investigation 15.2.

Added support for UMTS technology with Rohde and Schwarz scanner.

A problem has been resolved that could cause TEMS log files to fail to
load with multi-threading enabled.
A problem has been resolved that could cause TEMS .tpz files (indoor
files) to fail to load in Analyzer.
A new set of preferences have been created under Format > TEMS >
Discard Specific Messages to control whether some IP-related TEMS
messages should be decoded.

2.3 JDSU support

Added support for JDSU version 17.1-4.

Added support for MOS and POLQA measurements with the JDSU
handheld collection tool (.ahd files).

2.4 Nemo support

Added support for LTE + EVDO devices in Nemo. In previous releases of

Analyzer, LTE + EVDO devices were recognized as LTE-only devices, and
EVDO messages were not decoded.

2.5 Qualcomm support

Added support for message 0xB16B LTE ML1 PDCCH-PHICH indication

report version 4.

2.6 Rhode and Schwarz support

Added new attributes for frequency drift measurements for WCDMA

scanners.

2.7 Swissqual support

Added support for the Scanner LTE Pilot V2 LTE scanner message.

2.8 Generic

Added new text string attributes for Calling Party Number and Called
Party Number set from NAS messages. The advantage of using a text
string over a decimal number to store a telephone number is that the
leading 0s of the telephone number are visible in the text string.

3 Application layer improvements

3.1 Data radio mode

The set of attributes with a name starting with the prefix

Data_Radio_Mode have been replaced with similar attributes with the
prefix Radio_Access_Mode. The purpose of this change is introduce
support for more radio states:

In UMTS, Analyzer now detects Cell_PCH and URA_PCH separately

from Cell_FACH.

In CDMA, CDMA mode has been split into CDMA Idle and CDMA
Connected modes, and EVDO mode into EVDO Idle and EVDO
Connected modes.

Data_Radio_Mode attributes are still recognized by Analyzer; queries,

reports and stateforms do not need to be changed.
However, Data_Radio_Mode attributes are no longer visible in
Attribute Explorer, and customers should now use
Radio_Access_Mode attributes.
The new modes are used in Spotlight Data Service Analysis and in the
reports.
