Coffee and Atkinsons article influenced my thoughts regarding my existing data
in having me second-guess the method I used when distributing my surveys. As far as
actual distribution, I was able to find seven willing students in my criminal justice class (all of which are criminal justice majors). All of these students preferred the survey to be sent in an email form, which left me with only technological responses that lacked personal disposition. After reading this article, I realized how important human interaction is when recording data. It seems that regardless of the process in which data is being collected, seeing and recording gestures and other important physical feedback is vital to analyses. I do plan on making my future analyses by survey in more of a personal interview form.
Possible coding that I plan on addressing include feminism in the education
system, feminism in the workplace, and college preparation in transition to the workplace.
