Panel Three:

We decided to have this

panel purely of a picture
of the band. As of
present, we do not know
what the picture will be.
We will decide this in a
later draft.

Next we discussed the

track list that will feature
on the back of the
digipak. From our
collaborative market
research of existing
digipaks we came to the
conclusion to have our
song list in a more
unusual and
unconventional manner.
We came up with the
idea to use a photograph
of the set list which our
band would have used at
a live gig.

This is our very first

design of the digipak
outside cover. It is
however, not the initial
idea. As featured above
on the middle mind map;
our thoughts were to
have the image on the
top half of the front cover
with the band's name and
album title underneath.
We quickly rejected this
proposal as we as a group
decided it was not
aesthetically appealing.

In reflection, we should
have two set lists on the
back cover as our
promotional package will
include not only the CD
but also a DVD. We will
change this in our next
and more detailed draft.

This basic design

illustrates our new
concept. We will have an
image in the centre of the
cover with the band
name at the top so it is
easy for the audience to
recognise and identify
who the album is by. In
addition, the album name
will be featured at the
bottom as it is an
important feature to
have; however, it is
unlikely that a band will
be recognised by an
album name.
