Self-Review

Overall I believe I made this project complete. I believe I had plenty examples to support my project, having almost 20
different examples of social media. At first I did not have it very organized, but after I edited it, my project was a lot more
complete because I grouped the medias together. For example, I put Facebook with Facebook, twitter with twitter, emails with
different emails, etc. I think I analyzed all of my learning tools well too. I believe I expanded as much as I could have with the
examples I was given. I believe my project was easy to understand and easy to follow. I feel as if anyone were to randomly
open this project they could tell what they were looking at. I strongly feel as though I made this project my own especially
with all of the different examples I had and with the fact that I used PowerPoint.

Peer Reviews Received

1) Peer Review for Personal Learning Network Desirae Hakel
Reviewer: Jay Linton

Completeness: There seem to be plenty of examples, and you could always add more later. Very good and thorough!

Organization: I thought your project was very well-organized. The power point is easy to follow. I cant really think of anything
that would make it better, honestly. Maybe categorize it by texts, emails, and social media?

Analysis: Yes, the analysis connects with the examples. If you had even more slides, you can build even more analysis.

Clarity: I thought the project was very easy to follow and understand. The only challenge I noticed was that some of the
screenshots are a little hard to read, so maybe make them a little bigger.

Adaptations: Yes, it looks like you took ownership of the project because you included general learning items as well as items
outside of school that you are personally interested in knowing about.

Solid work!

Completeness: You did a really nice job with being complete in this project. You used a great amount of screenshots of your
personal learning.

Organization: Wow! This project is super organized. I love how you used powerpoint. Such a good idea. It really helped keep
everything in order.

Analysis: Yes. All of your screenshots meet the requirements and they show learning. I think you did a really good job in this
area. You also had tons of different learning.

Clarity: The project is easy to follow and understand. I dont think you need any work in this area.

Adaptations: You really made this project your own! I really like that you used PowerPoint. I think that this aspect of your
project makes it really original. Also, you used screenshots of different things that I have not seen in other projects. You did a
REALLY good job.

From Derrick Goss

Love that this is a Powerpoint. Love it. I also appreciate that each example has its own explanation. Very nice.

I wish that there was an overview or a conclusion at the end.

The variety of sources was great. A lot of people have 80% text messages, so I appreciate that yours is so varied.

Reflection:

I really enjoyed this project! It helped me see how differently I use a bunch of different social media and how there are certain
connections that I would have never made in the first place. It was cool to see how much I really do use social media for
learning purposes-one big thing were emails, but some people dont realize it. I wouldnt necessarily use something like this as
a teacher because it doesnt relate to anything I would even want to use. So I think this was a useful project, but it wouldnt be
useful for anything I wanted to use in the future as a teacher.
