Education is a culture of character.

All public schools in

Moldova are free. Children start primary school at 7 and
continue until they are 11. Most children are taught together,
boys and girls in the same class. At 11 most pupils go to
secondary schools, which accept a wide range of children from
all backgrounds and religious and ethnic groups. After finishing
secondary school, children can choose to study in College or
Professional schools, where they study more practical
professions such hairdressing, typing or mechanics. Other
children choose high school, where they study 3 years and ends
with a high school diploma (Baccalaureate Diploma), which
entitles them to admission in higher education. Education at
Universities is during 4 years and it is finished with special
