CONSTRUCTION QCPROCEDURE-CIVIL

1.0 GENERAL
1.1 INTENT
This Construction QC Procedure (hereinafter referred to us PROCEDURE) has
been prepared to establish the guidelines for all inspections conducted by LSTK
CONTRACTOR and approved and authorized by PMC / OWNER at the Project
Work-site as defined in the Contract to implement and achieve uniform quality
management and quality control at site.
This procedure is witness to ensure an efficient and orderly performance of the
inspection of field construction work required in the Project at every construction
stage up to the Mechanical Completion of the Project
The quality management system shall consist of co-ordination, review, approval,
audit and correct documentation of the work performed. THE LSTK
CONTRACTOR shall be responsible to ensure that the LSTK CONTRACTOR
fulfills the purpose of this procedure at the work site.
2.0 DOCUMENTS GOVERNING FIELD INSPECTIONS
The scope of field inspection requirements is defined by its respective disciplines
Inspection Test Plan (ITPs), related Engineering specification, and Test forms
which forms the part of the Contract and to be further developed by LSTK
contractor for review / approval by Owner /PMC.
Field inspection shall be performed as per the technical documents, Contract

specification and AFC drawings, LSTK contractors procedures, International codes

& standards, vendor or Licensors Installation & testing specifications/procedures,
where contractual specifications, codes of practice or standards conflict, the more
stringent shall prevail.
