5.5 INSPECTION NOTIFICATION

Grade A = Status of inspection which includes all the party for
inspection viz. OWNER, PMC and LSTK contractor
respectively
Grade B = Status of inspection where it is Random inspection by
OWNER and mandatory inspection by PMC and LSTK contractor.

(5) IN THE CASE OF GRADE C IINSPECTIONS

The Sub-LSTK contractor may as notified and scheduled, proceed with and
finish the INSPECTION irrespective of whether or not PMC Field
Inspector(s) punctually attends at the time and place of the INSPECTION,
unless such a delay is previously communicated to them by PMC, by an
appropriate means and in appropriate time.
5.6 FUNCTION OF FIELD INSPECTION SUMMARY SHEET
A complete print out of the Field Inspection Summary Sheet shall be submitted to
the OWNER/PMC as part of the final QC package upon Mechanical Completion. A
status of Field Inspection summary sheet shall be developed and shall be
accessible to OWNER/PMC periodically.
5.7 CONTROL OF INSPECTION RECORDS AND REPORTS
LSTK contractor shall maintain and control Inspection and Test Records and
Reports through the identification, indexing, filling, storage, maintenance and

disposition of these documents. Records shall be maintained to demonstrate

achievement of the required quality objectives as required as per Contract
specification. The records shall be accessible to the OWNER / PMC as and when
required in suitable form either in the hard copy or electronic form.
6.0 CALIBRATION AND CONTROL OF MEASURING EQUIPMENT
LSTK contractor shall ensure that at all times any equipment used for inspection is
duly calibrated and shall bear the following:a) Date of Calibration of the equipment.
b) Validity of the Calibration.
c) Least count / Accuracy of the measuring instrument.
