MY BELOVED

When all these years and youth is

gone,
I wish to lay upon the sand;
And watch the fruits of our being one
Grow and bloom as our sun go down.

Before the sky grew dim and light is

gone,
Before thy life become undone;
I wish to wake with you, my one,
Your hands in mine as we greet the
sun.

When all my hopes and dreams have

come,
When you and I, our souls are one;
Well build a fire - surpass the sun,
To warm our hearts when cold nights
come.

But before these hopes, these dreams

become,
Before this given chance in time is
gone;
I wish to ask of you my one,
Will you be my bride and take my
hand?
