Revenue from Industries if you hold at least 4 shares of an industry, then you are considered to be the controller of that industry. If anybody lands on any of your industry squares, they pay you the landing fee as mentioned on that industry's Controlling Stakes Card. Selling shares & Receiving dividends To raise capital, you can sell any shares you own. You will be the controller of the industry till you have at least 4 shares remaining with you. If nobody owns 4 shares in an industry, it becomes defunct*. You receive dividends from the bank (along with every salary) on each ‘minority’ share you own. A minority share is a share of an industry which you do not control. The dividend valve is calculated as €100 per Star Rating of the Industry per Share. There are no dividends for majority shares. *Note that defunct industries do not pay dividends. These cards are valuable assets which can be used or traded at a considerable premium. Buying Contracts ‘An owner of an agency can sell any number of contracts for the same agency to any player at any price Eg. If you own a Transport Agency, you can sell Transport Contracts fo anybody at any price. If you need fo use a Trans- port Contract yourself, you can do so free of cost Upgrading Industry Star Rating The controller of an industry can upgrade the industry Star Rating by obtaining and submitting all the required Contracts, Real Estate cards and money to the bank at his turn. If you need fo upgrade Cosmetics Plant from Tiefo 2%, you need fo obtain a Packaging Contract and an Advertisement Contract from players who own those agencies and submit these 2 contracts along with £600 fo the bank Kingpin Cards Kingpin cards are extremely valuable cards which give you the right to forcefully acquire shares of any company from any other player free of cost. A Kingpin card may give you the right to acquire 0, 1, 2 or 3 shares as mentioned on its face. You get to pick 1 Kingpin Card when you land on the Kingpin Square. When you pick a Kingpin card, you do not need to use it immediately. Kingpin cards can be held for later use. Further, you can use a Kingpin card at any time in the game, even if it is not your turn. Note that the Kingpin card must be surrendered to the bank immediately after use.Charity Lane IF you are on the charity lane, you can donate €300 before throwing the dice and take the Kingpin bridge detour. Note that if you pay the money to the bank, you must take the detour. If you are on the Charity Cross you can take the Kingpin Bridge for free by opting to throw 1 die only. While on the Kingpin Bridge you must throw 1 die only. Insurance If you own an Insurance card, you can choose to move +1 or -1 the number on the dice by surrendering the Insurance card to the bank. While you are holding any Insurance cards, an insurance premium of £200 per card will be deducted from your salary every time. Mortgage Only Licenses, Shares and Agencies can be mortgaged with the bank. The amount received from the bank will be as indicated on the card being morigaged. If you do not repay the mortgage within your next 2 turns, the mortgaged card becomes available for ‘open auction if any player is interested. Auction begins at mortgage repayment amount, as mentioned on the card. For more details refer to the Mortgage Tracker. Victory Points The only way to win Kingpin is to earn the highest number of Victory Points. You get victory points in the game when you complete specific tasks. These are given below. for starting an Industry on selling every 2 contracts (max of 2 Points per Agency Card) for every sustained* Controlling Stakes takeover Product Upgrade Salary for F&B, Cosmetics, Textile EX if end-game Salary > %1,500 FB for Pharma, Electronics, Oil endgame Salary** > 2,500 for Automobile “sustained means that the takeover / acquisition should be sustained jill the end of the game. **end-game salary is he salary you would have collected had you crossed a salary square with your asset position atthe end of the game Deal Window ‘On your turn, you get 1 Minute to deal before you roll the dice. Only you can initiate the deal, but once the deal has been initiated, others can join in the same deal. After you have rolled the dice, you can only transact with the bank (this includes mortgages}.
