The extreme close-up

This is when the scale of an object is incredibly large, it is used to show


the importance of an object or person.

The close up
This is when a small feature such as a face fills the whole screen, this
makes the character the centre of attention which make them
important

Medium close-up
This is when the shot is framing the chest, shoulder and head, this
show the significance between characters

Mid shot
The mid shot is from the waste up

Medium long shot


The medium long shot would be from about mid calf and would fill
most of the screen vertically

Long shot/ wide shot


The object/ person would a appear small in the frame, this allow the
viewer to see what is happening around the screen

Extreme long shot


This is when is scale is very small, it allows people and buildings to fit in
the screen

Point of view shot


This shows what the character to see and creates a certain effect with
the audience

Over the shoulder shot


This shot is filmed form behind the character shoulder

Two shot
This is when there are two characters in the scene

Establishing shot
This set the scene, it can tell the audience were they are.
