Gandhi is considered as one of the most influential leaders.


He gained world prominence, helped achieve
independence for India and left a lasting legacy.
Few characteristics that substantiate Mahatma Gandhi was
an exceptional leader.
Character is the key thing that differentiates good leaders
from others. Gandhi had a strong character. It is through
this character he led the people by influencing and guiding
them.
One of the important characteristics of distinguished
leaders is their charisma. Gandhi was a charismatic leader.
He succeeded as a leader because of his ability to connect
with the common man, with his charisma.

Commitment is the key characteristic of leadership. Mahatma


Gandhi was committed to truth, non-violence, and peace. He
was committed to fight against inequality and injustice. As a
result, he made a significant difference in the lives of Indians.
His compassion for all humans, his devotion to hard work, his
belief in strength of satyagraha as well as his trait of being a
good listener. All these attributes made him a prominent
leader.
Gandhis various social and political movements like Civil
Disobedience movement, quit India movement etc. were
success greatly because of his leadership qualities.
