Reading is one of the important skills as the medium of communication in the society between
the writer and the reader. Haris (1991) defines that reading is the meaningful interpretation of
printed letters into meaning. It means that through reading the reader can obtain much
information to enrich their knowledge. In general, reading is a means of discovering information,
expanding knowledge and understanding a subject.
