Students will experience an extended design

challenge that focuses on redesigning
Morning in Millbrae. The scope of the
challenge is broad (morning in Millbrae) so
that students will begin to develop the skill of
need finding. The challenge also includes a
final design review with a pitch to community
members at the end. This challenge will help
students better understand the design
thinking principles and also give them the
opportunity to participate in the Millbrae
community.
