Strategy Name: History Memory Bubbles

Concept #11

Brief Description (in your own words): History Memory bubbles emphasize to
students that history doesnt consist of isolated facts, but tells stories of a group of
peoples problems and how they cope with them. Students have a key term like the
industrial revolution and make that their center bubble. Students will then put key
ideas and details of the industrial revolution around the main bubble.

How you plan to use this strategy in your Practicum, Internship, Student Teaching,
or in your own classroom
I will use this in my classroom to help students get the Big Picture idea in units
that are a little bit harder than others. This allows students to breakdown
information and connect it to the other key information in way that is easy for the
students to understand.
