Extruder Plate Mount WA-140-S

Step 1

This part serves as a partial mount for

the extruder. Cut the part with the
outside dimensions shown. Drill a 7/16"
hole at the location shown. This hole will
permit the barrel to protrude through this
wood. The hole is a bit larger than the
actual barrel for adjustment and slight
errors in drilling. Two holes will be
drilled laterally as shown in the
illustration at the bottom. These holes
must be aligned with the holes in the part
on the top.
Insert this part onto the mounting screws
located at the z-axis rail support. Make
sure the part is oriented so that the 7/16"
hole is aligned so that the barrel will
align between the bearing and serrated
hub on the motor shaft and that the 7/16"
hole is away from the z-axis rail support
(against the extruder stepping motor
mount).
