XP to Windows 7
I. Giới thiệu :

Bạn muốn nâng cấp hệ điều hành từ Winddows XP sang Windows 7? Việc đó không khó. Tuy
nhiên , nó đòi hỏi bạn phải chuyển các dữ liệu của user (dữ liệu email, dữ liệu cá nhân) từ máy
Windows XP sang một thiết bị lưu trữ khác (USB, External HDD ...) hoặc 1 máy Windows 7
trước khi tiến hành nâng cấp. Bài viết sau đây sẽ giúp bạn thực hiện việc transfer này.

II. Chuẩn bị :
1. Đường truyền Internet tốt để download phần mềm từ Microsoft.
2. 1 máy chạy Windows XP
- Có sẳn 1 Desktop wallpaper và trên desktop, tạo 1 folder và 1 file với nội dung bất kỳ
- Trong Internet Explore ==> tạo 1 home page. VD: http://google.com.vn.
- Outlook Express đã cấu hình mail client (có thể dùng bất kỳ mail server nào :
yahoo.com.vn - gmail.com - mail.zing.vn ....) và tạo Rule để lưu trữ mail của 1 số
account đặc biệt.
3. 1 máy chạy Windows 7
4. Download sẳn các phần mềm sau :
- Windows Easy Transfer từ Windows XP sang Windows 7. Download tại đây
- Windows Live Mail. Download tại đây. Khi download về , bạn chạy file
wet7xp_x86.exe. Chương trình sẽ kết nối với trang web của Microsoft để cài đặt online.
Lưu ý : nếu bạn không muốn cài đặt online, bạn có thể lên trang này để download
nguyên gói cài đặt Windows Live Mail về máy để cài offline :

1. Kiểm tra các nội dung cần transfer trên máy XP.

New User

Cấu hình Window Mail kết nối với Yahoo
Mail Plus
Chúng tôi đã nhận được rất nhiều e-mail hỏi cách cấu hình Window Mail kết nối
với tài khoản của Yahoo Mail. Trong bài này tôi sẽ hướng dẫn từng bước cách nối
kết tới dịch vụ e-mail phổ biến Yahoo Mail Plus. Trước khi bắt đầu, hãy chú ý
rằng dịch vụ Yahoo Mail không hỗ trợ POP3 và bạn sẽ phải đăng kí một tài khoản
Yahoo Mail Plus để sử dụng đặc tính này.

Khởi động Window Mail vào Tools -> Acounts.

Kích Add để tạo tài khoản e-mail.

Chọn E-mail Account rồi nhấn Next.

Điền tên bạn rồi nhấn Next.

Điền địa chỉ e-mail rồi nhấn Next.

Chọn POP3 ở mục e-mail server. Nhập “pop.mail.yahoo.com” vào Incoming mail và nhập
“smtp.mail.yahoo.com” vào outgoing mail. Hãy nhớ kích chọn “Outgoing server requires
authentication”. Nhấn Next.
Nhập username không có phần đuôi “@.yahoo.com” và password. Hãy chọn mục “Remember
password” rồi kích Next.

Kiểm tra đã chọn “Do not download my e-mail” chưa rồi nhấn Finish.
Bây giờ bạn hãy chọn lại tài khoản vừa tạo của mình và nhấn Properties.

Tại tab “General” bạn nhập “Yahoo Mail Plus” làm tên tài khoản.
Tại tab “Advance” kiểm tra tùy chọn “SSL” cho SMTP và POP3. Nhập vào các cổng 465 và
995.
Kích chọn “Leave a copy of messages on server” và “Remove from server when deleted from
Deleted Items”. Nhấn OK.
Giờ thì bạn đã có một tài khoản của riêng mình. Hãy nhấn nút Send/Receive để bắt đầu gửi và
nhận thư.
