agoodconstitution.ShehadthreesonsbeforeCatherinewasborn;and
insteadofdyinginbringingthelatterintotheworld,asanybodymight
expect,shestilllivedonlivedtohavesixchildrenmoretoseethem
growinguparoundher,andtoenjoyexcellenthealthherself.Afamilyoften
childrenwillbealwayscalledafinefamily,wherethereareheadsandarms
andlegsenoughforthenumber;buttheMorlandshadlittleotherrightto
theword,fortheywereingeneralveryplain,andCatherine,formanyyears

heralwayspreferringthosewhichshewasforbiddentotake.Suchwereher
propensitiesherabilitieswerequiteasextraordinary.
