Faculty Achievers Renowned

DLSU-D faculty on their black and white dresses was awarded last February 11 at the Ugnayang
La Salle to recognize their outstanding service in the university.
Through the university effort of its involved associations, annual faculty recognition was held to
recognize and celebrate the outstanding academic and university services of the DLSU-D
faculty. The Gothic-inspired look of the faculty highlights their triumphant moment when
distinguished on the said event.
Dr. Rubie M. Causaren of the Biological Sciences Department led the rest of the awardees as she
was acknowledged as the Outstanding Academic Teaching Faculty for the S.Y. 2013-2014.
With her black dress, she was recognized with a certificate, plaque and medal. Along with the
university grants, she was given a cash incentive by the Parents Organization La Salle Cavite
(POLCA) and a token of appreciation by the Faculty Association.
Other faculty members were also acknowledged as past administrators, faculty with published
works in ISI Journals and recipients of the prestigious Juan Mendrado Award for the continuous
service of 25 years in the university. Departments in the university were also recognized as with
the most number of URO research projects for the past academic year and departments with the
most number of faculties involved in research.
The program went well with a victorious smiles and look from the faculty as it only happens
once a year.
