Subject: Letter of Reference for Karissa Llacuna

As a teacher at Bow Valley High School, I have had the pleasure of knowing Karissa
for a full school year, from 2013-2014. I was her teacher for ELL (English Language
Learning).

During the time Karissa was in my class, she was studious and took pride in
completing work was to the best of her ability. She often went above and beyond
when working on projects and she excelled at collaborating in groups. Because of
the great diversity with the English language learners in my class, Karissa organized
a day in which she shared her Filipino culture with everyone. It was a great
celebration where we were all able to share food as well as learn and appreciate the
Filipino language.

Karissa is an intelligent, patient and compassionate young woman. If I ever needed
help with something, Karissa is someone I would ask, as she is determined and
integrous.

I am confident that Karissa will succeed in her future endeavors.
