General Course Schedule

The total course duration is 3 years with a total of 1920 training hours. In each year, there are 2
academic semesters and the Diploma program will cover a total of 6 semesters. Each semester
will run for 20 weeks and is followed by a 6-week vacation.
To cater to the needs of existing Opticians, the lessons are typically conducted 4 times a week,
from 0830hr to 1230hr. While every effort is made to arrange classes on weekday mornings,
there may be occasions where lessons may be conducted in the afternoon or over the weekend
i.e. make up lessons for public holidays.

^The course fee is $17,120 for the first year, $19,260 for the second year and $21,400 for the
final year. The payment may be made in 6 installments for the entire course duration as detailed
below,
