Trained hairdressers will be expected to carry out any of the following
tasks depending on their clients needs:

Working Conditions
Most hairdressers are based at a salon where the hours will vary but are
usually between 9am and 6pm. Hairdresser jobs often require working six
days a week; Saturday is usually the busiest day and you may have to work
late. It is indoors.

Salary
Trainees should brace themselves for a few financially lean years as
newcomers earn little more than the basic wage. Once youve bagged your
NVQ Level 2 you can start earning between $12740.40 and $22649.60, while
NVQ Level 3-qualified senior stylists can earn up to $42468.00.

Future Outlook
We will always need hairdressers, everyone gets their hair styled and cute
regularly

Training
All hairdressers need to be licensed in order to practice. The first step to
becoming licensed is attending a state licensed cosmetology school. After
graduation, they must pass a licensing exam administered by the state they
wish to work in. These exams normally combine practical test as well as a
written test.

Cost
MBSS has a hair dressing program and the initial cost it $850 but you will
also need your hair dressing kit and a couple other things, the ending cost is
around $2210

Interest in Career
I have always been interested in it and I think it would be a good thing to
have so I can always have a job and can use that until I find out what I really
want to do.
