Travel Tips:
--Remember to pack your passports! If departing from Atlanta, check in at International
Terminal. Apprise appropriate person to pick you up from the International Airport on
Sunday;
--If you plan to use your credit card for any purchases while in Jamaica, it is recommended that
you notify your credit card company of travel dates to ensure authorization. Many times
credit cards will be declined because of fraud perpetrated on international travelers;
--Before landing in Jamaica, each traveler must complete a customs/immigration form. On
the return flight to the US, only one form is necessary per household;
Cell Phone: Unless you make special arrangements with your cell company, it is
recommended that you turn off your cell phone or place in airplane mode before
leaving the US and keep in this position for the duration of the trip. Otherwise, your bill
might be astronomical. It is usually cheaper to use the hotel connection to call home or
use Skype or another previously arranged service for long distance;
Dont forget swim suit, cover up, sun visor/hat, and at least SPF 30 sunscreen;
--Good idea to pack three to five days of extra medications in case of unexpected emergency
(always pack medications in your carry-on luggage);
-- Insect repellent is a must, and especially for evenings on the beach.
