Brainstorming around what can be found in municipal solid waste and
what can be found there
One concept transformer robot to walk around facilities, crush, and
separate them into organized waste (high level concept to explore
smaller concepts)
try to crush mostly anything
will reduce manual working and sorting at facilities
Tried out exploring aspects from each step in the process:
electricity for power, liquid for separating waste, and vending
machine for making a product from waste
CFP: Prototyped electric power source for storing energy, feasibility of
using electric motor or biofuel
CFP: Sorted different materials with liquids with different densities to try
to solve the problem of sorting waste being so manual
CEP: customer experience to throw waste into machine and have
concrete block come out in return containing waste, can order different
sizes and number of blocks (like a brick vending machine)
