Senior Year: Graduated

14th in my class after

finishing freshmen year
ranked 57th.
5th Grade: Surgery was a success.
Recovery lasted a week but the feeling of
triumph pervaded my mind that entire
time.
Junior Year: Achieved straight
As for the first time ever.
Passed multiple AP tests and
joined a variety of activities.

Senior Year: Broke up with girlfriend

of 1.5 years. Struggled dealing with
such a long portion of my life just
vanishing. Doubted many of my
most cherished qualities.

4th Grade: I learned I had what has

since been described as a lacerated
bladder. This would require
extensive surgery when technology
catches up with the condition.

6th Grade: Father diagnosed with cancer. Although

not terminal, the illness brought a sense of mortality
to what I thought was an invincible man
