Bb current issues
a. Compliance report, discussion board
i. Compliance report showed that the Discussion Board had the least
compliance. Approximately 21% of faculty were not compliant with
regard to the Discussion Board Professional Expectation.
1. Campuses will be discussing/pressing this issue in January at the
Winter quarter kick-off.
ii. Quality was lacking in those who did attempt to use the Discussion Board.
Approximately only 64% of faculty were entirely compliant in regards to
the discussion board.
1. This again will be addressed at the Winter kick-offs.
b. AH- Receiving positive feedback based on results
c. AP- Blackboard help pages, create alternate quick reference
d. Report- How are we reading it across the campuses/system?
e. Resources- Universal web site, Academics & ITSC working together to develop
site. Eventually a tab in Bb.
i. Mandy is going to move the resources document to the Blackboard PLC
Groups folder. If you share out please preface that this is not to be
distributed at large and it is very much in DRAFT phase.

with your course, you will already have assignments within the Grade Center
b. Why behind the what- Why would you need to setup the grading scale, and why
am I setting the grade center schema this way (highs and lows, midpoint related
to entering letter grade
c. New masters that load, the grading schema are setup
