unit of designing marketing plans.
This is done for the fulfillment of market needs
and reach marketing objectives.
It basically includes studying the customers.

To identify the difference between market


performance of Airtel and Vodafone.
To study the level of customer satisfaction in
both the companies.
To study competitive marketing strategies of
both companies.

There are two methods of data collection:

- Primary data (includes questionnaire method &


direct interview method)
- Secondary data (books, journals, magazines ,
reports, websites etc. )

Target market
- people living in cities and towns.
- businessmen
- younsters in big cities.

The main targeted customers of Vodafone are


from rural India.
By offering cheap and free connections,
Vodafone attracts most of the customers of
small villages and towns.

Various schemes for prepaid and postpaid


services.

aur kahan has already became popular in
market. So we can say that in spite of so many
competitors in the market Airtel is having a
good position just because every time, it tries
its best to understand the need of its important
customers.
