I am writing you in regards to the position that is open for a first grade teacher. I have worked at
Teague ISD as a substitute teacher for three years and I would love to be hired on in this district
as a full time teacher. I graduated from Texas A&M Commerce with my Bachelors Degree in
Interdisciplinary Studies (EC-6th) this past May, and have received my certification to teach
these grades. I have a great deal of experience with children from my years as a substitute
teacher, and I am already familiar with your school district. I love learning new things and I
know that I can teach your students how to feel the same way.
