iPad Navigation
General:
Get to Home Screen: Home Button

; or, 4-finger pinch

View most recently used Apps: double-click Home Button; or 4-finger swipe up
Search iPad: Home Screen > 1-finger swipe down
Switch btwn open Apps: 4-finger swipe L/R
Screen capture (> Photos): press Home

& Power buttons

simultaneously

Close open apps: 4-finger swipe up > swipe up on apps to be closed


In iBook:
Book menu: tap screen (not picture)
Access table of contents/Navigate book: book menu > TOC icon
Enlarge/shrink picture: tap picture
Select text: double tap word > drag grab points
Copy/define/highlight/note: double tap
Highlight text: tap-hold & drag
Add notes: double tap, highlight > Note
Access all notes: Book Menu > tap notes icon
Access notes on current page: tap coloured square in margin
Remove notes and Highlights: tap highlight > tap remove note

or trash icon

Add/Remove/Access bookmark: Book Menu > tap bookmark icon

in top right

Study Cards (highlights and notes): book menu > notes > study cards
