Habitats
The place where an animal lives is its habitat.
There it can find food, shelter and mates.

Sizes of habitats
A habitat can be as big as an ocean or as small
as a rock.

Animals adaptation to their

habitats
Adaptations help animals to survive in their environment
e.g having webbed feet help ducks to swim, having claws
help eagles to catch their prey.

Food Chains
Food chain is the process by which animals get
energy through food or in other words food
chain is a series of organisms each dependent
on the next as a source of food.

Food Chain in detail

The main source of energy is the Sun. Plants
use the energy from the Sun to make food for
themselves. The plants are eaten by insects.
Then the insects are eaten by animals.
And the animals are eaten by other animal and
so on..
