Writing- 11/05

PEER REVIEW these are two words that are an important part of your writing
process, but so often this step is misused and/or under-used. Think about your
experiences with the peer review process.


Did you receive appropriate criticism?
Did you receive any helpful suggestions?
Did you get your essay back with God job dude! on it?


Did you give thoughtful, helpful feedback?
Did you really pay attention and think about the essay in terms of what was
required?
Did you really check for the required elements?


Pick any of these questions and elaborate on your experience. Be honest, it is
helpful to hear what other students say about the process.


Anytime I have ever had something that needed peer reviewing it has never been
done correctly. High school until now, it just hasnt changed. Other students I feel
just take it as a joke especially in high school. It just does not seem like and
important step when actually it is one of the most important.
