In our Stars

The Fault in our Stars a novel written by John Green, not only a book to teach us about life, but
also makes our heart melt. Not all people would love to read a book like this at it is dramatic. But let me

John Greens novel is inspired by his cancer friend Esther who died at the age of sixteen. He said in
an interview that without his meeting with Esther, he wouldnt be able to write the book. The book is
about a girl named Hazel Grace, a cancer patient who goes to a support group only because she was forced
by her parents, and there he met Augustus Waters, the sexy boy that kept staring at her upon attending a
day in support group. They both started to develop feelings to each other as they shared the mutual feeling
they had upon reading Hazel Graces favorite book called An Imperial Affliction written by Peter Van
Houten. The novel brought their love story together, arousing their curiosity because the novel ended up as
a cliffhanger, they wanted to know what happens next in the novel so they tracked than Peter Van Houten.

fault in our stars. Why is it titled that way? Because as you can see, Augustus chose to get closer to Hazel,
playing the healthy guy-next-door which he actually wasnt, although his osteosarcoma was worsening, he
kept this to Hazel and continued their adventure in Amsterdam despite Gus parents not permitting him
to actually go. The title actually originated quoting Julius Ceasar
