Complete the Progression Courses: ACCT 2121, 2122; BUSN 1101; ECON 2101, 2102; INFO 2130; MATH 1120; and STAT 1220
with a 2.5 GPA (4 Bs and 4 Cs, within 2 attempts). Students that earn less than a grade of C within 2 attempts are ineligible to continue in
the Belk College.

earn a minimum of 60 hours (Junior standing)

have an overall GPA of 2.5 in all University courses

5. Non-Business Electives:
Non-business electives include all courses offered by departments outside the Belk College of Business.
6. Social Science Course:
ECON 2101, Principles of Macroeconomics, a required business course, satisfies this requirement. ECON 2102, Principles
of Microeconomics is also a Social Science course.
7. Writing Intensive Courses:
As part of the General Education Program at UNC Charlotte, all undergraduate students are required to complete six hours
of Writing Intensive courses. COMM 3160, Business Communications, a required business course, satisfies three hours of
this requirement. A complete listing of courses can be found by reviewing the Schedule of Classes online. Click on the
appropriate semester or session. Select all subjects by highlighting the entire field, and then select the Writing Intensive
Requirement as the attribute type.
