Part 1: Choose a subject

The subject that I want is rites of passage. People see other cultures rites of passage from being
a child to an adult as a necessary thing to do. Some of them can be reckless and people tend to say that
those passages are crazy or unnecessary. People do them because it is a way that they are accepted in
their community or because it is some challenge that they want to accomplish. In other cultures, the
rites of passages can be a coming of age ritual or a celebration of being coming a man or woman. Bucket
lists are important because they are used to list out everything that someone want to do in their life
before they die. Humans want adventure to explore and get more out of life than what they get out of
normal everyday situations. We gain experience from discovery and adventure because then we feel
what it is like to do those things and have an appreciation for both people that live like that and people
that live back home.
