I am writing in hopes of attaining an internship position at the elementary school in your
class. I would enjoy meeting with you to exhibit how I can be of benefit to both you and
your class.
As you will see from the enclosed resume, I have worked with children individually as
well as in a classroom setting. These jobs have provided me with skills in childcare and a
familiarity with an elementary school classroom. My office job has given me the
opportunity to become experienced in running office machinery and proficient in using
programs such as Word and Excel.
What my resume does not reveal is my good attitude and my willingness to help. I
believe these qualities are necessary in the classroom to provide a good example to the
students as well as co-workers. I am capable of learning on the job and I always do my
best. You will find in me a reliable, organized, and hard working intern, who is willing to
go the extra mile and encourage others to do the same.
