Almost Famous is a 2000 film, directed by Cameron Crowe. The plot is about William Miller, a teenage journalist that writes for Rolling Stone Magazine, while he is on tour with a rock band named Stillwater in 1973. I think the picture is great. The film mix drama with some hilarious situations. That is necessary to maintain the attention of the viewer. The dialogues are simple, and faster than others teenage dramas. The movie contains a lot of good sequences. I enjoyed, specially, the scene where William lost his virginity. The way he looks at Penny while she leave the room is so tender. Besides, the fact that three girls remain in the room with him, suggests something very remarkable for a first time. Definitely I would recommend this flick. If anyone are looking for a good time and found a sweet teenage love story, he or she must see Almost Famous. The soundtrack is pretty good too. Personally, I prefer harder dramas. Usually, I see thrillers or really sad movies. This kind of films, like Almost Famous, are perfect for rainy days or just watch something enjoyable. If you are a rock lover, a follower of journalism and a romantic person, this is the movie you should see.
