HLA - Lifelong Wellness Application/Reflection Paper

1. What did you learn about lifelong wellness from taking this course?
I learned that lifelong wellness is something that we need to focus in the future. Its
important to be healthy, and stay healthy. I also learned that taking this course was keep
moving, dont stop. Because once you stop you will not want to keep moving again. Stay
active thats the key.

1. How has learning about and applying lifelong wellness concepts impacted your life (home,
school, work, etc.)?
Lifelong wellness is very important as in now, and in the future. I been having health
issue and being out there and be active is really important in life. I only way 100 pounds, and
even though that am small, thats doesnt mean I can stop staying healthy. Being at home, work,
or at school, I always find a way to work out.

1. Discuss specific lifelong wellness concepts learned in this course and how you are going to
implement them in your life?
I learned that doing different activities can help because if we keep doing the same thing
over and over it well get boring and we will stop. We need to do different activates to make us
keep going. I took Zumba because I wanted to do something different. I really enjoyed this class.
I am going to implement them in my life by, people motivation, like family, friends.
Because I still need to be in this earth by staying healthy.

1. General ideas for improving this course?


I think once the students already the movements by heart it does gets boring doing them over
and over. Maybe doing the same dance but different music?
