Reflection on the Rhetorical Analysis Module.

Why was this assignment not formatted as a traditional paper?

-I feel that this assignment wasnt formatted as a traditional paper to make us think
outside of the box to set up an assignment that fellow students would be interested in, to
make our fellow students use rhetorical analysis themselves to pick apart your own
assignment.
What were you supposed to learn?
- We were supposed to learn that it is possible to use rhetorical analysis in any given
situation. We analyze people within the first few moments of talking to them, we analyze
text when reading, even if we dont realize it. We use rhetorical analysis even when we
view things like pictures or ads or billboards. People use rhetorical analysis when
creating ads and focus them towards certain groups or certain people.
What did you learn?
- I learned different ways to analyze texts and situations from this module. I learned that
nothing is original work, due to intertextuality.
What did you think was the hardest about this section?
- I thought the hardest thing to understand, were all of the different types of rhetorical
analysis that you could use to analyze a text, and applying it to the text.
What did you think was the easiest about this section?
- I thought the discussion posts were the easiest things to do because I understood the
texts a bit more than the previous texts.
What do you think about your final draft that you turned in/are going to turn in?
-

I feel like I did well on it and it effectively put my point across.
