Iloilo City A MANIFESTO OF SUPPORT for the 2015 ILOILO CITY APEC MINISTERIAL MEETING AND THE ILOILO CONVENTION CENTER WE, the Officers and Board of Directors of the Resource Employees Association of City Hall (REACH) of the Iloilo City Government, declare our support for the 2015 lloilo City APEC Ministerial Meeting and the lloilo Convention Center; We believe that the city’s hosting of the Ministerial Meeting of the Asia- Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) leaders affirms the status of Iloilo City as one of most progressive, picturesque and commercially vibrant cities in the Philippines; We recognize that the member states of APEC represent the most prosperous and biggest economic bloc in the world today, as it includes the biggest economies in the vast Asia-Pacific region; We acknowledge and appreciate the support of the national government for the hosting of the APEC Ministerial Meeting in lloilo City through the construction of major infrastructure projects, such as the lloilo Convention Center and the new major roads including the lloilo Circumferential Road; We fully support the efforts of our national and local leaders in preparing for the APEC Summit in 2015 and we believe that the ministers and leaders throughout the Asia-Pacific region will be enchanted by the beauty and promise of the great City of lloilo;We stand firm in our commitment to serve the people of lloilo City anc to support national and local government programs without partisan politics and political intrigue; We are one with the rest of our fellow llonggos in pushing for the rapid development of lloilo City and we believe that the APEC Summit and the projects implemented in support of the Ministerial Meeting will serve as catalysts of economic growth in our city.
