The Aggregates Handbook, second edition, now available


The Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration (SME) is pleased to announce the availability of the second
edition of The Aggregates Handbook, published by the National Stone, Sand and Gravel Association. This handbook has
been the industrys primary source for aggregates technology and knowledge for more than two decades. The second
edition has been expanded to include developments in sustainability, safety, transportation, design, technology standards
and industry trends.
SME Executive Director David L. Kanagy stated, This handbook is an invaluable tool for all industry
